ShopMath Terms and Safe Use
Last updated: 7 September 2026
ShopMath is developed and operated by Scott Hazlitt, an individual in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. These terms cover the ShopMath app and this support website.
App licence and purchases
For an App Store download, the applicable App Store licence governs your use. Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement applies where no custom licence is supplied. These practical notes do not replace that licence or change an existing purchase. For an Apple purchase, use Apple’s purchase and refund support. Eligibility and any statutory remedies depend on the applicable rules.
Use calculations safely
ShopMath is a calculation aid. Check inputs, units, rounding, measurements, and results independently before ordering materials, cutting, or building. Calculations and reference values do not establish structural safety or compliance with local building codes. Get qualified advice for structural, electrical, or other safety-critical work.
Availability and your rights
ShopMath is provided without additional warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer protection rights.
Changes and applicable law
Updates will be dated here and apply going forward. They do not retrospectively remove rights under an existing purchase. Manitoba law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live.
