ShopMath Privacy Policy

ShopMath is developed and operated by Scott Hazlitt, an individual in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This policy explains how the app handles information in practice.
Data we collect
None. ShopMath does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. The app makes no network connections of any kind.
Data stored on your device
Your settings and calculation history are stored locally using Apple's standard on-device storage. ShopMath does not transmit this information to us or to third parties. If you enable iCloud Backup or a computer backup for your iPhone, Apple may include ShopMath's app data in that backup according to your backup settings, and it may later be restored. Deleting ShopMath removes its active on-device data; copies may remain in backups that you control through Apple. You can clear your calculation history at any time from within the app.
Permissions
ShopMath requests no permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. ShopMath contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, and does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency because there is nothing to track.
Children
The app does not ask children to create accounts or send personal information to the developer. This privacy statement is not a claim that construction work or every use of the calculator is appropriate for a child. Follow the safe-use guidance and provide appropriate supervision.
Support messages and website visits
If you email support, Scott receives your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send. These are used to respond and troubleshoot; the app does not send them automatically. Messages may remain in the support inbox so previous troubleshooting is available. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing Scott. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed to explain the issue.
This support website is hosted by Vercel. Loading a page sends the hosting provider ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the page requested. Its handling is described in Vercel’s privacy policy. This website traffic is separate from the app’s local calculation history.
Apple services
Apple handles App Store purchases and device backup services under its own policies and your settings. If you choose to share app analytics with developers through Apple, Apple may make reports available to the developer under that setting. ShopMath does not add its own analytics or automatically send diagnostic reports. See Apple’s App Analytics and Privacy notice.
Changes
Updates will be posted here with a new date. Where a change requires notice or consent, that will be provided or requested separately. A revised policy does not by itself grant permission for a new use of information you have sent for support.
